“Everybody Street illuminates the lives and work of New York’s iconic street photographers and the incomparable city that has inspired them for decades. The documentary pays tribute to the spirit of street photography through a cinematic exploration of New York City, and captures the visceral rush, singular perseverance and at times immediate danger customary to these artists. Covering nine decades of street photography, “Everybody Street” explores the careers and influences of many notable photographers––a number of whom have never been documented, featuring: Bruce Davidson, Elliott Erwitt, Jill Freedman, Bruce Gilden, Joel Meyerowitz, Rebecca Lepkoff, Mary Ellen Mark, Jeff Mermelstein, Clayton Patterson, Ricky Powell, Jamel Shabazz, Martha Cooper, and Boogie, with historians Max Kozloff and Luc Sante."

Jill Freedman
Jill Freeman: is someone who just loves taking picture she is inspired to take a picture at lest everyday,I have noticed her photos all have everyday life things for example the to girls skipping I like that picture because just looking at it you can see what the wether is like and the relationship between the girls by that I mean the girl at the back dose not look interesting or she fells left out I can see all this in one picture, all so with these pictures in black and white it gives it a better effect like a sinister look or when there is a photo in black and white it make the image look more effective for example it makes the light more brighter and bold.
Hate cheap pictures. I hate pictures that make people look like they’re not worth much, just to prove a photographer’s point. I hate when they take a picture of someone pickin’ their nose or yawning. It’s so cheap. A lot of it is a big ego trip. You use people as props instead of as people. - Jill Freedman - As quoted in Working, book 3, by Studs Terkel (1973).
- Describe the subject - what is going on in the image?
- Is the image in black and white or colour - what difference does this make?
- Describe the composition of the image - is it calm, still and clearly organised or is it full of action/violence/movement and a little bit chaotic?
- Try to imagine where the photographer was standing/crouching - how close is s/he to the subject and what effect does this have?
- Think about the angle of the viewpoint - looking straight on, tilted, up, down, across …? Was the photographer standing still or moving when the picture was made, do you think?
- How much information is captured in the image? - has the photographer used a wide angle lens to suck in lots of information, or has s/he used a lens to draw us closer to the subject and isolate it from the background?
- If you had to give the photograph a title (other than the one it might already have) what would you call it and why?
- If you could ask the photographer 2 questions to help you understand the image better, what would they be?
Out of all of jill Freedman photos I would say this is the best, just by looking you can get all what is happening in this image I would say this was a time of poverty
and maybe racistam this will make the viewer fill smithery for those in the picture i think the shade gives a more lighter reflection. And all so it looks likes there is a bishop their this means it could be related to religious people that my want the rights to believe and i think that is very effective same way I believe that this picture has loss of life.

In these photos are mane focus was on reflections in some of them I did't get the focus right so you could't see the the light my best photo. As doing these thing I notice that the best reflections was in windows or water for exalmple in the photos below you can see it is more improved because they all have reflection or they are a recreations there is a photo of girl with something that is near her face it creates the effects of some sort of alien like it is apart of her or it could leave the viewer gessing of who she is.I the third photo in the first row I think it is trying how a photograph life is and that is how we see it but it could all so look like David is the photograph like he is the reflection in the pictuer.
This picture is very confusing it is very easy to look pass the shadow and look at the water below but if u fully concentrate you will notice the hole image and question who these people are and w
In all the pictures I took think this was the best because of the reflection and the back ground it can confuse you for example your eyes can choose to look at the flour our or the mystical shadow which is me David, Olivier this will give the effected of an illusion

In this picture I could fined theses line with in an instant ,I like it because It's got a wide range life for me I see it as that the way of the light is a good place and the darkness is a bad place but all so I see it as the street is taking up a lot of light
EBI
If I had used a better line that could be more bigger and brighter this will show that i have improved what I've done and would be satisfied but would still be looking forward to what i would have to improve next.

Cropping with the rule of thirds
Original image
Using the crop tool in photoshop
In my final image I was hoping to add in something that could just improve it by any reason it's self so I decided to use photoshop because I wasn't really pealsed with the size of the image so I wanted to use photoshop to allow me to crop the image so it could masks the image better as a whole.
